Sarah Schuetz

Sarah K. Schuetz believes in the power of movement to facilitate change. She is passionate about supporting people to feel empowered in their bodies, moving and
feeling their best. “Mens sana en corpore sano,” (healthy mind in a healthy body) is her mantra.

Sarah is a certified Pilates instructor through the Kane School of Core Integration (NYC) and Lotus Pilates (Bloomington, IN).
 
She is also a Registered Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy,® a modality which graced her life while she was living in Asheville, NC. This gentle bodywork aims to help humans experience more balance and ease in their lives from the inside-out by reminding the body’s innate reflexes how to effectively and efficiently re-establish optimal being.

Back home in the Hoosier heartland after having lived in a number of the southeastern United States, Sarah is thrilled to be a part of the Zen Fitness family. She is readily growing her Ortho-Bionomy® practice, and she teaches Pilates regularly throughout the week.

  • Pilates Circuit
  • A circuit workout using the Reformer, Tower, Wunda chair and mat for a total body workout! This class will challenge you but allows you to squeeze in full body strengthening and lengthening in middle or end of your workday! Perfect for working professionals who don't want to go back to work all sweaty!

  • Mat Pilates Sculpt
  • Combines traditional Pilates mat work with light weights for a lean, sculpting workout. 

  • Mat Pilates
  • All motion begins from our center. Learn how to effectively use your core muscles to create a strong, healthy, lean body.  Exercised are primarily done lying supine/prone/side on mat.

  • Mat Pilates + Cardio
  • Enjoy the best of both worlds! Experience all of the benefits of our mat Pilates with the added boost of additional heart-pumping intervals designed to enhance your cardiovascular health. Low impact options available.

  • Pilates Circuit

  • Find What You Need Solstice Edition : Get Moving, Get Social, Go Local
  • This is a slower-paced, mat-based movement class built around the intention of finding just the right balance between movement and stillness, contents and container. The first day of winter offers us the longest stretch of darkness we receive all year. Let's meet on the mat with a little extra glow from the inside out to help you find just what you need to support you through the season and beyond.

  • Be Present to the Moment Pilates Mat Class
  • Expect mostly a Pilates mat class, but with some added holiday presence to support you as we navigate the joys and challenges of the season.  Appropriate for all levels.
